As part
of our continued involvement with the Midland Regional
Growers we will be exhibiting at their British Plant
Buying Fairs throughout 2009, providing immediate sales of
British plants into Garden Centres.
Following two successful
years the initiative is growing and moving venue, improving
the offer to retailers. The move, to Stoneleigh Park in
Warwickshire, will bring the fair to a larger audience in a
central location, offering a One Stop Shop with an increased
number of exhibitors.

times: 10.00am – 3.00pm
Pre
Fair Guide: A fair guide will be published by Planteria
Magazine ahead of the event.
The
Market Place: This area provides an opportunity for
retailers to browse shelf samples, place central orders and
receive a single delivery.
A further
development for the events will be the introduction of a
shelf samples area with central ordering. Under the banner
of the Market Place this service will enable retailers to
order from samples of stock from growers exhibiting at the
fair and those that simply wish to send plants. Orders will
be consolidated and delivered in single deliveries with one
delivery note and one invoice. White Logistics will continue
their link with the event providing transport for this
service.
These
changes follow interest from several growers wishing to
exhibit at the fairs and from feedback forms completed by
visitors to last years’ events.
Locally
sourced organic food and refreshments will be provided
courtesy of the exhibitors. Entry and parking are also free.
